Our Story
After Dee and Angello Gordon served over 20 years, both retired from the U.S. Army and decided to make San Antonio their home. They noticed that there wasn't much variety in cuisine. So that and the fact that they love to cook, laugh and have fun with friends and family are the reasons they opened Jamaica Jamaica Cuisine in 2011. Cooking and feeding people is what they have done for years while stationed in different parts of the world so it's a natural progression that included their dreams of owning a restaurant. And you can tell that San Antonio has embraced them and welcomed them to their new home! What originally opened as a 1200 sq ft space has grown to be a local, full service restaurant here in San Antonio, Texas that serves authentic and fusion Jamaican/Caribbean/West Indian food. It is 4,000 sq ft with a private meeting room and also offers corporate events, corporate and small catering. Live music is featured (all genres), club parties, poetry events, pop up shops and much, much more. Feel free to check out our website!
